Bogs, wet meadows, and other moist sites in aspen, spruce-fir, and lodgepole pine communities at 2135 to 3510 m in Daggett, Duchesne, Summit, Uintah, and Wasatch counties, Utah; British Columbia and Alberta Canada, south to Washington, Idaho, Wyoming, and Colorado (Welsh et al 2015).
