Threats or limiting factors
Threats left unknown because no formal surveys have been conducted and there are 4 occurrences from 4 counties that are historical or nearly so.
There are 3 recorded occurrences of Camissonia pusilla in Utah within the last 40 years. The suspected threats to these occurrences come from habitat degradation due to grazing, solar energy production, and drought. 2 of the occurrences fall in the boundaries of cattle grazing allotments. There is 1 occurrence near an area designated for potential solar energy production, and 1 is near an area that could be developed for energy transmission. Drought and climate change is also a threat and likely impacting this species through out it's range (Wrobleski, 2023). Threats compiled using observations and notes from Utah Rare Plant Database and Utah Geospatial Resource Center GIS Data downloaded in 2023.
