Has not been found in Utah.
In Utah Flora (Welsh 2015): "This report is based on two collections by pioneer collectors, one by A. L. Siler (in "Kanab Mts.") in 1881 and the other by Dr. E. Palmer in 1877 (in "S. Utah"). Since it is probable that neither knew where the Utah-Arizona boundary was situated (it was surveyed finally in 1879), the collections noted could only have been taken from nearby Arizona. However, the plants should be sought near Kanab."
