In Utah this species occurs only in southern Washington and Kane counties (Tanner 1941, Tanner 1954, Cox and Tanner 1995).
Habitat
This species utilizes low, arid, open habitats, including those dominated by creosote bush (Larrea tridentata), sagebrush (Artemisia spp.), and desert scrub habitat (Schwinn and Minden 1980, Cox and Tanner 1995).
