Species range
In Utah, evidently restricted to riparian habitats in Kane and Washington counties.
Migration
Can fly, so has some disperal ability.
Habitat
Habitats for this species are always sandy, riparian situations such as stream banks, edges and sand bars. Both Howard Boyd and Jay Sheppard indicate such habitats are used by this subspecies. There is no habitat information in any of the three descriptions.
Food habits
Tiger beetle adults chase their prey, larvae wait in their burrows.
