Phenology
Goodrich's blazing-star blooms between July and August. Most collections have been made during mid-July.
Species range
Endemic to southern Duchesne County, Utah, along Bad Land Cliffs above Argyle Canyon and west into Avintaquin Canyon. Reported along the escarpment of Willow and Argyle canyons.
Threats or limiting factors
So far this species is quite well protected by the habitat in which it grows and threats are minor. Oil and gas exploration and development are increasing locally and may be future threats.
