Species range
Reported historically from two localities in north-central Utah, one in Salt Lake County (Call 1884), and another in Cache County (Henderson and Daniels 1917).
Habitat
Call (1884) reported this species in Utah from a lake (Warm Spring Lake), and Henderson and Daniels (1917) similarly stated that they found it in Utah in a "town reservoir".
Threats or limiting factors
If this species still occurs in Utah, it likely is very threatened by loss and degradation of its aquatic habitat, especially since the two reported Utah localities are in areas undergoing intensive development. Moreover, one of the two Utah localities has apparently has been desttroyed.
