Dedicated Hunter: if you did not harvest a deer in 2016, please remember to return your permit to any DWR office

The Dedicated Hunter Program is a general-season deer-hunting program that began in 1995. This program was created to:

  • Promote the overall hunting experience, rather than consistently taking an animal.
  • Provide hunters with opportunities to contribute their time to wildlife habitat service projects.
  • Offer an opportunity for hunters to interact and learn about fundamentals of game management and associated ethics.

By joining the Dedicated Hunter program, you can work with the Division to promote wildlife and help make Utah a better place for hunting, fishing and other wildlife-related recreation.
