The Utah Division of Wildlife Resources works to manage and protect wildlife under Utah Code 23A-2-201. To do this, we sometimes need to collect personal data for outreach and management purposes. We collect your personal data in order to:

  • Process your registration — and facilitate your participation in — events and programs
  • Communicate with you about hunting, fishing, wildlife viewing and other wildlife-related activities
  • Obtain feedback about wildlife and fisheries management issues
  • Provide you with better customer service

Your personal data is classified as private under the Utah Government Records Access and Management Act (Utah Code 63G-2-302) and will not be shared with any non-DWR employees. We do not sell your data.

Important: Your submission of personal data is voluntary; however, you may not be able to participate in the broader effort or program related to this data request without providing your personal data.

All customer information will be stored and destroyed in accordance with the Utah Division of Archives and Record Service's operational procedures and guidelines (GRS-1732).
