Bighorn sheep ram poached in Kane County

Kane County — On Oct. 20, 2019, a bighorn sheep ram was killed and left to waste near Mount Carmel Junction.

The individual(s) who shot the ram were on the main Barracks ATV trail, near marker 12.8. The ram was shot through both lungs, and the bullet exited the animal's left side.

A monetary reward may be available to anyone who provides information that leads to the arrest and conviction of those responsible for killing this animal. Requests for confidentiality will be honored.
