Feedback requested: DWR implementing mandatory testing for chronic wasting disease in Ogden hunting unit, proposing other updates

Starting in 2026, hunters will be required to submit a sample from deer harvested in the general-season any-legal-weapon buck deer hunt in the Ogden unit for CWD testing. A few other items are being proposed, and we are seeking the public's feedback.

Mandatory CWD testing is being implemented in the Ogden hunting unit and other rule changes are being proposed for 2026.
