Utah State Fair Instagram & Facebook Know Your Native Species official contest rules

Here's what you need to know to win a fishing rod!

Eligibility

This contest is open to those age 13 and up. To qualify to win a fishing rod, participants must:

1. Post at least one photo, video or Boomerang of their favorite native fish and/or a native fish fact at our fish display during state fair hours (on Instagram and/or Facebook)

2. Tag the Utah Division of Wildlife Resources @utahdwr on Instagram or on Facebook and hashtag #Cabelas

3. 'Check in' at the Utah State Fair

Complete steps 1–3 and show your post to Division staff working in the Wildlife Building.

That's it!

Note: Thanks to Cabela's, we have about 9 fishing rods to give away during the following time increments: 11 a.m.–2 p.m., 3 p.m.–6 p.m., 7 p.m.–close. The first 9 (or so) people to complete the steps above — and present their social media post to Division staff at the fair — will receive a fishing rod. (One rod per person while supplies last.)
