High & Low Lake Elevation Species Distribution (1999 & 2001)Two years were compared to assess the distribution of individual species relative to high and low lake elevation scenarios. Species counts by survey area and survey period for the high lake year of 1999 and the low lake year of 2001 were mapped for comparison. The general trend of bird distribution follows the presence of water as lake elevation changes (Appendix 3). |
