Infomation about the Wildlife Board and its current members
The seven-member Utah Wildlife Board makes the final decisions about hunting, fishing and how wildlife is managed in Utah. Board members are appointed by the governor and serve a six-year term. They are encouraged to attend the public Regional Advisory Council meetings in their respective regions, and also must attend roughly six public Wildlife Board meetings each year.
The positions are unpaid, and members of the board are not employees of the Utah Division of Wildlife Resources.
