Wildlife virtual backgrounds
Enjoy Utah's outdoors and wildlife in your video calls and meetings
Whether you're chatting with friends, keeping tabs on family members or meeting with colleagues online, enliven your backdrop — and give a nod to Utah's natural resources — with one of these free virtual backgrounds by the Utah Division of Wildlife Resources.
Instructions
Here's how to apply a virtual background in the following platforms:
Zoom
- Click one or more of the thumbnail images below to download and save the photo or video.
- In the Zoom app, create a new user profile (click "Sign Up") or sign in to your existing user profile.
- Enter your profile settings (click your profile picture) and select "Virtual Background." Make sure the button is toggled to the on position.
- Click "+" to add the photos or video you have downloaded.
- Uncheck the "I have a green screen" and "Mirror my video" boxes.
- Start or join a Zoom meeting and ensure that your webcam is enabled.
Google Meet
- Click one or more of the thumbnail images below to download and save the photo or video.
- Start or join a meeting in Google Meet.
- Click the three vertical dots next to the red "Leave call" button and select "Backgrounds and effects."
- In the "Blur and personal" section, select "Add your own personal background."
- Navigate to the image you saved and select it. It will take a few moments for the image to be uploaded.
Microsoft Teams
- Click one or more of the thumbnail images below to download and save the photo or video.
- Start or join a meeting in Microsoft Teams.
- Click the more icon (...) to open the background settings pane.
- Select "Video effects and settings" (or "Apply background effects").
- Click "+Add new" near top of the pane.
- Navigate to the image you saved and select it. It will take a few moments for the image to be uploaded.
