As a Dedicated Hunter, you are required to perform 32 hours of service, through approved projects that benefit Utah's wildlife, habitat and other DWR needs.

Projects may vary from helping in a DWR office to installing remote guzzlers. Without your help, many valuable projects would not be possible.

You can start to earn service hours after you have received notification that you have successfully drawn a place in the program. Service done prior to joining the program is not appliable.

If you are unable to complete your service hours, you can purchase service directly instead by calling or visiting any Division office.
Find a project

Dedicated Hunters can find approved projects on the Dedicated Hunter/Volunteer project page. Before you go on a project, read the project-preparation checklist and make be sure you're ready.
