New antlerless hunts in 2022
The following antlerless hunts will be new this year:
Antlerless deer hunts
- South Slope, Vernal-Ouray Valley (primarily private land, hunters should obtain written permission before applying)
Antlerless elk hunts
- North Slope, West Daggett
- Pine Valley
- Southwest Desert, Burbank/Garrison; including an early-season hunt and a general-season hunt (both hunts are on private land, hunters should obtain written permission before applying)
- Southwest Desert, Desert Experimental Range (infrequent elk herd in hunt unit, limited access)
Doe pronghorn hunts
- South Slope, Vernal-Ouray Valley (primarily private land, hunters should obtain written permission before applying)
