Volunteers and Dedicated Hunters

Non-lead (California Condor) Deer Program

From October 01, 2013 until October 31, 2013
The Division of Wildlife is looking for Dedicated hunters/ Volunteers to assist with the Non-lead California Condor deer gut pile survey stations. The gut piles will be collected to reduce the effect of the lead on the endangered California Condors. This project is every Saturday and Sunday in October. The project involves helping receive gut piles and assisting hunters with paper work as they come to the stations.

Dedicated hunters can receive 8 hours for the project. This is a great project for all those dedicated hunters that fill their deer tag during the archery season.
