Little Montes Reservoir
Little Montes is a small pond downstream of Montes Creek Reservoir. It is stocked in the fall with catchable Rainbow Trout and fingerling Channel Catfish. The reservoir also has naturally reproducing populations of Largemouth Bass, Bluegill, and Black Bullhead. Little Montes is known for it’s fast Bluegill fishing and has recently become a great place to go for fast fishing for Rainbow Trout through the ice.
Latest fishing report
The reservoir water level is slowly rising and anglers are catching bluegill that were recently stocked. Try using nightcrawlers and panfish jigs. (Last update 05-18-18)
