- Conditions: On July 15, conservation officer JD Abbott reported good fishing with bait. Around July 8, the pond was stocked with 600 10-inch rainbow trout. During most hot summer days, few ponds have better fishing than Petes Hole. Trout will usually take a wide variety of traditional and non-traditional baits, like cigarette butts.
