Echo Reservoir

Latest fishing report

The reservoir is capped with 12 to 18 inches of ice and five inches snow on top. Because of warmer weather and rising water levels, the edges are weak. Please use extreme caution as the ice conditions continue to change. Fishing is fair to good and anglers are catching 10- to 18-inch rainbow trout in 20 feet of water and six- to nine-inch perch in eight to 10 feet of water near the bottom. Try using PowerBait, chartreuse ice flies tipped with perch meat or red spikes or a pink jig head tipped with shrimp. (Last update 02-14-19)
