This access point is located along the northwest shore of Kolob Reservoir in a narrow bay. The UTM coordinates for this access point are 318,525 meters east and 4,145,975 meters north. Decimal degree coordinates for this location are -113.05143 longitude and 37.4428351 latitude.
From Salt Lake City, travel south on I-15 for 277 miles. Take exit 27 onto UT-17 S. Follow UT-17 S for 6.1 miles. Turn left onto UT-9 E. Follow UT-9 E for 6.3 miles. Turn left onto Kolob Reservoir Road. Follow Kolob Reservoir Road for 25.3 miles. Turn left and follow this road around the northwest shore for 0.8 miles. The parking area for this access point will be on your left.
Approximately 15 feet in depth a short distance form shore.
Primitive camping is allowed on Washington County property at unimproved sites around the lake.
Restrooms are provided at this location.
Boating, camping, and paddling available at this access point. Hiking, backpacking, picnicking, hunting, horseback and OHV riding, snowmobiling, mountain biking, scenic driving, and wildlife viewing available in nearby areas.
Restrooms are ADA compliant. Ability to park on or near shoreline, provides moderately easy access to the waters edge for disabled anglers.
