Dedicated Hunter participants are issued buck deer permits for each eligible year. If you complete your annual requirements before August, the Division will generally automatically print and mail your permit. Once you have joined the program, you may complete all of the 32 service hours required. Some Dedicated Hunters complete all of their hours done within the first year of joining the program while other participants prefer to do the hours according to the annual minimums.

Remember: You cannot be issued a permit in the 3rd year if you have already recorded two harvests. You must complete the full 32 hours required by the program even if you record 2 harvests within the first two years of your enrollment in the program.
