Draba pennellii or Pennell’s draba is a perennial mustard with white flowers that grows primarily in Nevada and west-central Utah in rocky areas between 1900 -3650 meters (6200 - 12000 ft) elevations in a variety of montane communities. This species is notable for its elongated, many branched caudices and distinct mid veins on the fruit valves.

You can spot the white flowers of this species from May through July.
Diagnostic characteristics
This species is easily distinguished from other white-flowered regional plants by the elongated, many-branched caudices, few to leafless flowering stems, long styles, and fruit valves with distinct midviens.
Species range
Draba pennellii mainly occurs in White Pine County, Nevada and some specimens have been found in Juab County, Utah.
