Apply to be a member of the Utah Wildlife Board

Applications must be received by March 15, 2019

The five Utah Division of Wildlife Resources regions

The Utah Wildlife Board — the group that has the final say about hunting, fishing and how wildlife are managed in Utah — has three openings it needs to fill.

If you would like to become a member of the Utah Wildlife Board, you can apply for appointment to the Board. Applications must be received by March 15, 2019.

Gov. Gary Herbert appoints members to the board. The governor is looking for:

  • At least one person from the Northeastern Region.
  • Two people who live anywhere in the state, though both cannot come from the same region.

Applications will be accepted between Feb. 1–March 15, 2019.
