Two buck pronghorn poached in Carbon County

CARBON COUNTY — Utah Division of Wildlife conservation officers are seeking information concerning two buck pronghorn that were shot and left.

Officers from DWR responded to a report of two buck pronghorn found in the Mounds area, southeast of Price.

The pronghorn heads were not taken and the entire carcasses were left to waste.

Officers determined these pronghorn were shot around the first part of March.

Anyone with information related to the illegal killing of these animals, or any others, are encouraged to contact the UTiP hotline at 1-800-662-3337 or contact DWR Officer JD Abbott at 435-650-0654.

Rewards are available and requests for confidentiality are respected.
