Officers seek information on doe poached near Richfield

SEVIER COUNTY — On August 10, 2013, Utah Division of Wildlife Resources Conservation Officer Brent Kasza received information through the UTiP hotline about a poached doe mule deer.

Officer Kasza and Sergeant Paul Washburn responded to the scene, where they located a doe that was lying dead off the Cove Mountain road near Davis Hollow (east of Annabella in Sevier County). This doe deer had been illegally killed and left to waste. The officers gathered evidence at the scene.

Anyone with information related to the illegal killing of this animal, or any other, is encouraged to contact the UTiP hotline at 1-800-662-3337. Rewards are available and requests for confidentiality are respected.
