Participating landowners' properties

Currently, the WIA program is confined to just three of the five DWR administration regions that cover the state. These include the Northern, Central and Northeastern regions — the Southern and Southeastern regions are not yet participants in the program.

Northern Region

  • A Douglas property #1: This property is located approximately five miles southeast of Howell.
  • A Douglas property #2: This property is located approximately one mile southeast of Howell.
  • A Douglas property #3: This property is located approximately 2.5 miles east of Howell.
  • A Judd property: This property provides access to a section of the Weber River and is located southwest of Coalville.
  • Brian Petersen property: This hunting property is in Box Elder County, west of Tremonton and immediately west of Thatcher.
  • E Stevens property: This property includes a stretch of the Weber River on the east side of I-84 in Henefer.
  • East Bear Lake property: This property provides access to private and some public land east of Bear Lake.
  • Honeyville Ponds area: This fishing area is one-half mile south of Honeyville and includes stretches of water on the east and west sides of the train tracks.
  • J Baxter property: This property is located at the south end of Cache Valley.
  • J H Richard property: This property is located approximately 3 miles northeast of Fielding on 18000 N Road.
  • Kippen property #1: This property is located approximately 10 miles south of Morgan on State Street/Canyon Road.
  • Kippen property #2: This property is located to the north of the DWR managed land that is approximately 10 miles south of Morgan on State Street/Canyon Road.
  • L Cowley property #1: This property is on the west side of the Cutler Reservoir near Ballard Junction.
  • L Cowley property #2: This property is located west of Logan, where Blue Spring and Blanchard Spring meet.
  • L Cowley property #3: This property is located on the Logan River, approximately 4 miles west of Logan on SR-30.
  • L Douglas property: This property is located approximately 3.5 miles southeast of Howell.
  • Lamb property: This property is located on the Cache-Box Elder County line southwest of Clarkston, Cache County.
  • Lamb properties: These two property are located west of Plymouth in Box Elder County.
  • Lavar Douglas property: This hunting property is in Box Elder County, at the north end of Blue Creek Valley, about four miles south of the Utah-Idaho border.
  • Tim Munns properties: These upland game properties are located off I-84 in Box Elder County in Blue Creek and Hansel valleys.
  • R Sorensen property: This property is located approximately three miles southeast of Howell.
  • Roundy and Meikle properties: These hunting properties are located our and a half miles north from the intersection of SR 23 and Hwy 30 in Cache County.
  • Rounkles property: This fishing-only property is along the Ogden River below Pineview Dam.
  • South Cache Livestock property: This hunting property is in Blacksmith Fork Canyon.
  • Teichert property: This hunting property is located east of Bear Lake along the Utah-Idaho border.
  • Ward and Tripp properties: These adjacent properties are immediately southeast of Richmond in Cache County.

Central Region

  • D Hansen property: This property is located 3 miles north of Fairview. just off Highway 89.
  • K D Bass property #1: This property is located 3 miles south of Goshen on Goshen Canyon Road.
  • K D Bass property #2: This property is located approximately 1 mile north of Goshen on 11130 W.
  • K D Bass property #3: This property is located approximately 4 miles west of Eureka.
  • K D Bass property #4: This property is located approximately 12 miles south of Vernon.
  • S L Ekins property: This property is located on the north side of Warm Springs Mountain, just 4 miles east of Goshen on Highway 6.

Northeastern Region

  • Alamedia Sweetwater property #1: This property is located around Trap Canyon approximately 70 miles north of Arches National Park or 80 miles south of Vernal.
  • Alamedia Sweetwater property #2: This property is located around Black Horse Canyon near Black Horse Point, approximately 65 miles north of Arches National Park or 85 miles south of Vernal.
  • Alamedia Willow Creek property #1: This property is located approximately 50 miles south of Vernal on Willow Creek Road.
  • Alamedia Willow Creek property #2: This property is located approximately 48 miles south of Vernal on Willow Creek Road around Two Willow Creek.
  • Alamedia Wood Canyon property: This property is located on both sides of Willow Creek Rd approximately 65 miles south of Vernal or 60 miles north of Green River.
  • K Moon property #1: This property is located across SR-399 approximately 2 miles northeast of Duchesne.
  • K Moon property #2: This property is located approximately 3 miles northeast of Duchesne, just off of SR-399.
  • K Moon property #3: This property is located approximately 5 miles northeast of Roosevelt.
  • K R T Moon property: This property is located approximately 10 miles southeast of Duchesne, just south of Highway 40.
  • M Johnson property: This property is located approximately 7 miles northwest of Steinaker State Park just off a left fork on Taylor Mountain Road.
  • R Thacker property: This property is located west of SR-149, just north of Jensen.
  • RT Thacker property: This property sits along the Green River, several miles south of Vernal.
  • S Thacker property: This property is located approximately 5 miles southeast of Moon Lake, near Vernal.
  • S Bench property: This property is located approximately 14 miles west of Strawberry Reservoir.
  • T Moon property: This property is located approximately 18 miles east of Duchesne, just south of Highway 40.
