Ward and Tripp properties

Directions: These properties are located about 2 miles east of Richmond in Cache County. To reach these properties, take Highway 89 in Richmond, turn east on Third South and travel five blocks. Turn right at the "T" intersection and travel south for two blocks. At the first intersection where you can turn east, head east for one mile and follow the road to the right until you reach a parking lot on south side of road.

Standard rules:

  • All hunters must sign in and out
  • Park in the designated area
  • Do not drive off the roads
  • Do not drive past the parking area
  • Please pick up all trash (even if it's not yours)
  • Please respect this private property
  • No shooting within 600 feet of buildings, houses or machinery

Special rules:

  • Hunters have received permission to hunt on this private property. Please respect it.

When opened: Between August 16 and the following January 31 and April 15 and May 30 for the years 2008, 2009 and 2010

Hunters may harvest: Mule deer, Rocky Mountain elk, ring–necked pheasant, wild turkey, chukar partridge, gray (Hungarian) partridge, blue grouse, ruffed grouse and mourning dove
