South Cache property
This hunting property is located 11 miles east of Hyrum. To reach the property, travel up Blacksmith Fork Canyon (SR-101).
Standard rules:
- All hunters must register
- Park in the designated area
- Do not drive off the roads
- Do not drive past the parking area
- Please pick up all trash (even if it's not yours)
- Please respect this private property
- No shooting within 600 feet of buildings, houses or machinery
Special rules: The trail from the bottom of North Cottonwood Canyon to the top of the drainage and to Pole Hollow is open to vehicles from approximately April 15 to September 15 each year
When opened: July 1 through June 30 for the years 2012, 2013, 2014, 2015, 2016, 2017; ending June 30, 2017
Hunters may harvest: Cougar, mule deer, Rocky Mountain elk, moose, wild turkey, cotton-tailed rabbit, chukar partridge, blue grouse, ruffed grouse, bobcat and coyote
Area to hunt: 1,985 acres
