Walk-In Access Program

D Walker property:

This property is located in the northwestern corner of Utah, about 4 miles west of the Utah-Nevada border and 17 miles south of the Utah-Idaho border.

Standard rules:

  • All hunters must sign in and out
  • Park in the designated area
  • Do not drive off the roads
  • Do not drive past the parking area
  • Please pick up all trash (even if it's not yours)
  • Please respect this private property
  • No shooting within 600 feet of buildings, houses or machinery

Special rules:

  • All hunters who wish to access the property must contact Doug Walker personally at (435) 257-6121 between 6:00 p.m. and 9:00 p.m. one day before they intend to hunt
  • A maximum of 5 deer hunters per day will be allowed to access this property

When opened: Between August 15 and December 31 for the years 2009, 2010 and 2011

Hunters may harvest: Mule deer, cougar, cotton-tailed rabbit, snowshoe hare, chukar partridge, gray (Hungarian) partridge, dusky (blue) grouse, ruffed grouse, mourning dove, band-tailed pigeon, coyote and bobcat
