Walk-In Access Program

D Postma property:

This group of parcels is located about 18–26 miles west of Tremonton, north of the Golden Spike National Historic Site.

Standard rules:

  • All hunters must sign in and out
  • Park in the designated area
  • Do not drive off the roads
  • Do not drive past the parking area
  • Please pick up all trash (even if it's not yours)
  • Please respect this private property
  • No shooting within 600 feet of buildings, houses or machinery

Special rules:

  • Hunters must directly contact Lance Postma at (435) 216-2723 for permission to access the property.
  • This Walk-In Access property will be closed the first three (3) days of the archery, muzzleloader and general any weapon deer hunts. Sportsmen can access the property on the fourth day of the respective season and after.
  • There is a 10 hunter per day limit during deer hunts.

When opened: Between August 18 and February 28 for the years 2009, 2010, 2011 and 2012

Hunters may harvest: Mule deer, blue grouse, ruffed grouse, chukar partridge, Hungarian partridge, ring-necked pheasant, cotton-tailed rabbit and mourning dove
