East Bear Lake property

This property is located east of Bear Lake. You can access this property from three different locations. Access the north side of this property by entering South Eden canyon. The east side is accessible through Sixmile Canyon. The south side is accessible by turning off the Laketown Canyon road at the runaway truck ramp.

Standard rules:

  • All hunters must sign in and out
  • Park in the designated area
  • Do not drive off the roads
  • Do not drive past the parking area
  • Please pick up all trash (even if it's not yours)
  • Please respect this private property
  • No shooting within 600 feet of buildings, houses or machinery

Special rules:

  • Vehicles may use public roads; please park and walk in from these roads
  • No ATVs or motorized vehicles allowed off designated public roads
  • Access in this WIA is by foot or horseback only (except on public roads)
  • Please shut any and all gates you go through
  • Please read and obey all posted signs
  • Please use discretion on using some of these roads in inclement weather

When opened: Between August 16 and the following February 28 for the years 2008, 2009 and 2010

Hunters may harvest: Mule deer, Rocky Mountain elk, pronghorn, sage grouse, cottontail rabbit, bobcat, coyote
