November 19, 2009: Conservation Officer Mark Connolly reports that the access to Range Creek has five inches of snow on the Horse Canyon summit. The snow is still deep on the road facing north where the sun does not melt it. Connolly suggests carrying chains for safety, especially with the weather reporting new storms coming.

IMPORTANT: Ownership of Range Creek may change this year due to a proposed land trade with another state agency. If it does, conditions for public access may be affected. These changes might affect access permits issued for future dates. We will keep this page updated with new information as needed.
