General fishing information

Apply for an access permit

IMPORTANT: Ownership of Range Creek may change this year due to a proposed land trade with another state agency. If it does, conditions for public access may be affected. These changes might affect access permits issued for future dates. We will keep this page updated with new information as needed.

Access to Range Creek via permit will begin on May 14. These permits are available online. (See our latest conditions report.) A maximum of 28 permits per day are available.

We sell access permits through the same system that we use to sell hunting and fishing permits. Enter the information on the forms, and you will be taken to a page listing the various permits for sale by the DWR. When you reach that page, select "Range Creek Access" and the day you plan to visit Range Creek. Payment must be made using a credit card. You will print out your permit at the end of your session, so you should have access to a printer.

  • The cost is $5.00 per permit, per person.
  • If you are purchasing multiple permits, you must enter each separately.
  • If you are selecting multiple days or purchasing multiple permits, you must complete each one separately — repeating the process for each.
  • Call the Price DWR office at (435) 613-3700 if you have questions.
