The Skull Valley South Cooperative Wildlife Management Unit (CWMU) is located in Tooele County in Skull Valley west of the Stansbury Mountains. The CWMU is about 22.5 km southwest of Timpie, Utah. Elevations in the east are around 5600 feet and 4300 feet in the west.
The Skull Valley South Cooperative Wildlife Management Unit land cover is dominated by Invasive Annual Grassland (121), about 35%. This invasive is evident throughout the unit. In the northwest of the CWMU is mostly Inter-Mountain Basins Geasewood Flat (82), 15%. Down the middle of the CWMU are six patches of Agriculture (114) land, 12%. Finally, towards the southwest are patches of Inter-Mountain Basins Mixed Salt Desert Scrub (58), 11%.
