There are several sections of fencing that are no longer needed at the ranch. Over the years, these fences (mostly barbed wire and field fence) have become worn down and they now pose a serious hazard to animals that get caught in the wire and end up dying or getting seriously injured.

We are looking for some volunteers to help with removing this fence (wire and posts).

Project begins at 7 a.m.

 Tools/items needed:

  • wire cutters /lineman’s pliers
  • gloves
  • T post pullers (or handyman jacks with a short chain)
A few ATV’s with small trailers to haul the fencing out (we will not be allowed to have trucks in the area of the fences) number of ATV’s and trailers will depend on how many volunteers we end up getting.
  •  Lunch and drinking water.
