Huntington Creek

Fishing report

  • Rating: Slow
  • Conditions: The stretch from Electric Lake dam downstream to South Hughes Canyon is the best place to fish. This stretch lies within the fly-only zone. Below South Hughes Canyon, the Seeley Fire and subsequent flash floods have made it so that there are no fish in the creek. You cannot camp overnight from South Hughes Canyon to the forks of the Huntington because of a continuing flash flood threat. You can camp below the forks, but there are few, if any, fish there.
