Mud Creek provides great shoreline and float tube access to shallow fish habitat in a narrow bay along the west shore of the lake.

From Salt Lake City, head east on I-80 for 23.9 miles. Take exit 146 and merge onto US-40. Travel on US-40 for 40.4 miles. Turn right onto West Strawberry Road and travel for 2.7 miles. Continue onto FR-131 and travel for 0.9 mile. Turn left and travel 0.6 mile to the Mud Creek access point.

No camping on site. Camping is available at Strawberry Bay campground.
Paddle sports, boating, and crayfishing are available to visitors at this access point. Hiking, backpacking, hunting, horseback and OHV riding, snowmobiling, mountain biking, scenic driving, and wildlife viewing also available in the surrounding area.
Restrooms are ADA compliant. The boat ramp provides moderately easy access for the disabled.
