Apply to be a member of the Utah Wildlife Board

The five Utah Division of Wildlife Resources regions

The Utah Wildlife Board — the group that has the final say about hunting, fishing and how wildlife are managed in Utah — has two openings it needs to fill.

If you would like to become a member of the Utah Wildlife Board, you can apply for appointment to the Board. Applications must be received by March 16, 2015.

Gov. Gary Herbert appoints members to the board. The governor is looking for:

  • At least one person from the Northern Region.
  • One person who lives anywhere in the state except for the Central Region.

Apply for the Utah Wildlife Board Nominating Committee

The Utah Wildlife Board Nominating Committee has an opening for three members:

  • One from a sportsmen group
  • One from the agriculture industry
  • One representing nonconsumptive wildlife interests

If you're interesting in applying for the committee, you should apply online as soon as possible.
