Corrections to the guidebook
The corrections that appear below address errors in the printed guidebook. We have fixed these errors in the downloadable PDF guidebook
- Page 29: In addition to your fishing license, fishing at Rainbow Reservoir (Tooele County) requires an onpost fishing permit. A season pass for an individual is $10, and a season pass for a family is $20. The permits can be purchased at the Outdoor Recreation Shop (435-833-3100), TEAD Physical Fitness Center (435-833-2159) or the Southtowne Grill (435-833-4789).
- Page 33: Rainbow Reservoir (Tooele County) was restored to the list of waterbodies on which fishing from any watercraft is prohibited.
Emergency changes to the guidebook
- AQUATIC INVASIVE SPECIES CLOSURE ORDER: Sand Hollow Reservoir (Washington County)— (PDF format)
- Special regulations regarding decontamination of conveyances and equipment at Sand Hollow Reservoir after preliminary finding of an adult quagga mussel in the reservoir.
- OOWAH LAKE TEMPORARY TROUT LIMIT RESCINDMENT: Oowah Lake (Grand County)— (PDF format)
- Temporarily rescinds the daily bag and possession limit of four trout, and allows for the unlimited harvest of trout by any legal angler. The change is effective August 2, 2010 and will remain in effect until January 1, 2011.
- MILL MEADOW RESERVOIR TEMPORARY TROUT LIMIT INCREASE: Mill Meadow Reservoir (Sevier County)— (PDF format)
- Temporarily increases the daily bag and possession limit for trout from four fish to eight first. The change is effective September 2, 2010 and will remain in effect until January 1, 2011.
