Brine shrimp harvester update

Dear Brine Shrimp Harvester:

A sampling run on the south arm of Great Salt Lake was conducted on November 24, 2009. The enumeration and analysis have been completed. All presented values are per liter of lake water.

• Cysts: 70.08
• Nauplii: 4.52
• Juveniles: 0.89
• Males: 0.83
• Total females: 0.80
• Females: 0.46
• Females with eggs/naups: 0.16
• Females with cysts: 0.18

The cumulative harvest poundage totals through harvest day November 25, 2009 are listed below. Totals are preliminary due to an error in harvest reporting, and will be updated as soon as possible.

• Lake: 8,965,147
• Shore: 6,956,895
• Salt ponds: 613,320
• Total: 16,535,362
