Seed Inventory | Seed Warehouse Seed Warehouse To increase seed storage capactiy and more efficently mix and distribute seed, the UDWR has formed a partnership with U.S. Forest Service through the Native Plant Materials Program of the National Fire Plan. Additional funding to purchase new mixing and bagging equipment will be provided by the Rocky Mountain Elk Foundation. An interagency warehouse will be constructed to meet the increased needs of coordination between State and Federal agencies. This approach will also meet the increased demand to maintain an adequate supply of seed to meet especially during high fire frequency seasons. The seed capacity will be 100,000 pounds for the U.S. Forest Service and 650,000 pounds for the UDWR.
