MILLARD COUNTY — On January 23, 2013, Utah Division of Wildlife Resources Officer Kody Jones received information regarding a poached turkey west of Fillmore, Utah.

Officer Jones responded to the scene and located a hen turkey carcass lying near Old Field Road. It was determined that the turkey had been shot through the head and left to waste.

There are no suspects at this time.

Anyone with information related to the illegal killing of this animal, or any other, is encouraged to contact the UTiP hotline at 1-800-662-3337. Rewards are available and requests for confidentiality are respected.
