Rewards are available for information on the killing of this deer in Duchesne County.

DUCHESNE COUNTY — Conservation officers with the Utah Division of Wildlife Resources are requesting assistance from the public in solving a deer poaching case. Officers were informed of a dead 5x4 buck in a field just west of Starvation Reservoir on the Strawberry River Road.

Investigators believe the deer was killed between Sunday, Nov. 25 and early Monday, Nov. 26, possibly at night. The deer was shot and left to waste.

Anyone with information is urged to call Investigator Sean Davis at 435-790-2261 or the UTiP hotline at 800-662-3337. A reward is available for information that leads to an arrest and prosecution.
