Some of the best trout fishing you'll find all year is happening right now at Scofield Reservoir. Division of Wildlife Resources Conservation Officer Devin Christensen visited the reservoir in east-central Utah on April 16. He says the ice is starting to leave the reservoir, and now is the time to get out and fish.

Right now is the best chance you'll have all year to catch a big northern pike at Yuba Reservoir. During an eight-hour population survey, Division of Wildlife Resources biologists netted more than 100 northern pike.
