On June 6, members of the Utah Wildlife Board approved revisions to Utah's deer and elk management plans, including approval for wildlife biologists to manage Utah for a few more elk in the coming years.

If you don't have a permit to hunt buck deer in Utah this fall, you can still get one. More than 4,300 general buck deer permits were not taken in this year's big game draw and will go on sale on two separate days in July.
