Dedicated hunters

Conservation and ethics course

This course is a key requirement of the Dedicated Hunter program. It includes information about the North American Model of Wildlife Conservation, general wildlife management principles, hunting ethics and Utah's public-input process.

This course will be available on May 31, 2012.

Instructions

You must be enrolled in the Dedicated Hunter program before you can take this course, and you are required to complete it during your first year of enrollment. To complete the course and receive credit for passing it, follow the steps listed below:

1 You might want to read or print out a full copy of the course text (PDF 80 KB) before starting the test.

2 Click the Start Course button (at the bottom of this page), read the test information and answer the questions. There are 55 questions, and the course will take at least two hours to complete.

3 If you answer questions incorrectly, you will have an opportunity at the end of the course to answer the questions again. You must pass this test with a score of 100 percent.

4 After you successfully complete the course, we will prompt you for your personal information. Please enter your customer ID number* to ensure that you receive credit for passing the course.

5 We will then issue you a certificate of completion. Print and keep this certificate for your records.
