Come to the St. George Winter Bird Festival to be held January 24-26, 2013 at the Tonaquint Nature Center and Park. The festival is designed for beginning and experienced birders. Daytime activities include field trips, presentations, kid's workshops, Junior Birder Program, exhibits, live birds and more. On Saturday evening there will be a dinner highlighting keynote speaker, Christopher Balmer at Best Western Abbey Inn. This well-known and nationally published nature photographer will deliver a lecture on the beauty and fascination that many people have with owls. A
bird photography contest
