The Starvation State Park ice fishing tournament will take place Saturday, February 11, 2012. Check in is from 6:30 - 7:30 a.m. and the derby runs from 7:30 a.m - 2:00 p.m. The contestants with the three longest fish receive prizes. Participants may enter either one rainbow or brown. Pricing is $15 per person or $10 for youth 16 years and younger. There is a limit of 200 participants so call now to register: 435-738-2326. Note: There is still some safe ice at Starvation, but it's deteriorating, so use extra caution.
